Meet Robyn.

Because you deserve to feel as competent and capable as you are.

Ready to find relief from self-criticism, excessive worry, and overthinking?

You’re in the right place.

Imagine having dedicated time and space each week to get out of your own head, and talk things through with someone you’re comfortable with. Someone who can offer more than a well meaning friend or family member can. A professional you relate to who specializes in the exact issues you’re dealing with. Imagine a place where your only job is to show up, say what’s on your mind, and get a thoughtful response that promotes deeper reflection and long term growth.

I will help you verbalize your confusing thoughts and feelings, and gently but honestly reflect on your behaviors. We’ll develop a complex understanding of your situation, and an awareness of your emotional and interpersonal patterns. As you become conscious of these dynamics, they stop operating on autopilot. New possibilities for relating to yourself and others emerge. And we’ll consider these together so you can start responding intentionally instead of from a place of confusion, fear or the need to control your feelings.

You'll find yourself feeling more centered and grounded. You’ll spend less time ruminating, feeling nervous and being disappointed in yourself. You’ll start showing up more confidently in your relationships. You will be more accepting of your emotional reactions and see them as valuable intelligence instead of frightening and overwhelming feelings to be avoided. You’ll develop a new narrative about yourself that includes an appreciation for who you are and how you’ve gotten this far. And you can stop feeling so alone.

Therapy has transformed my patients' relationships with themselves and the important people in their lives.

For over fifteen years I’ve helped women grow more comfortable in their own skin than they ever thought they could be. I help women untangle their emotional reactions, work thru interpersonal problems, and feel more self-assured.

Not feeling good about yourself shows up at home, at work, and in social situations. It is intensified during times of transition like graduating from college, getting into and out of relationships, job change, engagement, pregnancy, and early parenting. I combine a warm, encouraging style with extensive training in deep listening and therapeutic technique to help strengthen your self-esteem and weather these seasons.

If you believe negative feelings about yourself are at the root of your relationship issues, interfering with your professional development, or affecting your physical health, I can help you move from self-crticism, worry and overthinking to strength and resolve.

Clients describe me as a relatable, reliable professional.

Classical training

I completed a three year post graduate program in psychoanalytic psychotherapy. I learned how to listen deeply, and gently draw your attention to the core issues underlying your struggles.

Modern sensibility

Sessions feel natural and conversational without sacrificing depth. I focus on maintaining therapeutic momentum in a warm, encouraging environment.

Holistic approach

Your emotional health is one pillar of well-being. I support your work with other practitioners, and provide referrals for medication management, couples, child, and family therapists as needed.

Lifelong learning

I have over fifteen years of clinical experience working with women like you. To continue strengthening my skills, I participate in regular supervision and study groups with a focus on psychodynamic therapy.
